" " Strange Land©2000 " "
by Andy Foster and Brian Bertrand
I don't know why; I don't know when.
I don't know what's happen'in.
I hope I find my way again.
More troubles comm'in round the bend ---

I feel something isn't right.
Your in a strange land, no trees only sand, and nothing looks familiar.
Darkness, not a glimpse of light.
Your tripping on stones, mixed in with the bones, so obvious in daylight.

I'll find it hard to sleep tonight.
The weather so cold, the wind steady blows, outside without no shelter.

No-body left in sight.
Far and away, My eyes closed they stay, I must be in a strange land ---

There's somebody following me.
Through the desert and across the sea.
Behind the corners and in the trees.
So many people, just let me be.

Feel something isn't right.
Your in a strange land, Concrete where you stand , nothing looks familiar.

Darkness, not a glimpse of light.
Your tripping on stones, Can't find a damn phone, so obvious in daylight.

I'll find it hard to sleep tonight.
The weather so cold, the wind steady blows, outside your normal shelter.

So many left in sight.
Far and away, My eyes closed they stay, I must be in a strange land ---

In the desert I see ice-cream.
I realize, nothings, what it seems.
So, I wake up with a loud scream.
Luck for me, it was Just a dream.
Just a dream,
Just a dream.
